La Fonda Latina: Authentic Latin American Cuisine in Atlanta

They serve decent Mexican food, although I've had better elsewhere. However, I often come here for their paella, which is well seasoned, tasty, and quite affordable. I usually enhance its flavor by adding habenaro sauce, which its bottles are readily available in the restaurant. Their service is also generally good and on point. Although they have both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, I found the inside to be quite noisy from all the machines nearby. Also, although plenty, it can be painful at times to find a parking spot during weekend/lunch periods.

Nice spot to grab some tasty Latin food. We placed an in-person take out order and it took ~15 minutes for our food to be ready. Everything was cooked well, yummy, fairly priced, and the staff was pleasant. I'd recommend visiting!

I used to go here when I was in college, about 15 years ago. It is still great! We ordered appetizer guacamole (it had a hint of hot) and entrees. I got the bistec sandwich. AMAZING!! Everything was fresh and prepared wonderfully. We finished our meal with a Flan, which was even better than I remembered. I highly recommend this place.

One of the best cook to order Mexican restaurants in the Atlanta Buckhead area. There’s salsa is fresh and very flavorful. The service is always excellent. Lunchtime parking is not a problem at all during the evenings at times it can be a challenge. Located right off of Roswell Road fairly easy to get in and out of. Overall great experience every time I’ve been here.

Soooo yummy every time they don’t disappoint! Service is always great as well. They really care about their costumers . Prices are also reasonable for what you get .

Took my wife last night to celebrate her birthday. 25 years ago we used to be regulars but a move to the suburbs and kids had us talking for years about going back. Last night we finally did it. She got the shrimp and spinach quesadilla - her old order and I had the seafood paella. Both very good with good service and a laid back atmosphere. Brought back many memories and we won't wait so long to go back. Great place for a relaxed meal with friends.

Absolute gem if you’re looking for a cozy, quick, authentic and reasonably priced Latin menu with plenty of menu options and vast outdoor dining. It’s a good choice if you are the only one addicted to Latin food, and want a good option to lure the rest of the family into doing what you want. I mostly go for tacos and quesadillas, but have had many other options like the sandwiches and paella. There are many options that my wife likes too such as the roasted chicken, the chicken soup—even the vegetable plate is shockingly good despite being only vegetables. Finally, the kids eat well from the kid menu and did I mention popsicles? The atmosphere is dated (1950s/1960s I guess) but clean; my only concern is the outdoor dining music volume can seem too loud for my non-Latin family’s taste at times :)

LaFonda has some of the best frozen margaritas and queso! Love this location and staff is always friendly.
